Audible, the leading creator and provider of premium audio storytelling, presents the Newark Artist Collaboration, offering ongoing opportunities to Newark-based artists and encouraging local investment in our creative community. The Newark Artist Collaboration features large-scale installations and public artworks at Audible’s newly renovated 1 Washington Park headquarters and in the surrounding downtown neighborhood.

The latest in Audible's efforts to aid in pandemic recovery, the Newark Artist Collaboration joins Newark Working Kitchens, which launched in April 2020 and has helped keep open thirty local restaurants while delivering more than one million meals to at-risk Newarkers.

Raise Your Voice, 2022

Raise Your Voice is a Newark Artist Collaboration special project that commissioned local designers, illustrators and artists to create a citywide visual campaign of typography-forward interpretations of the statement Raise Your Voice. The artists’ vibrant and rhythmic compositions are presented as temporary storefront installations at sites citywide, with a Places app QR-accessed audio component that features the words of prominent Newarkers.

The Raise Your Voice campaign includes audio clips from The Book of Baraka by Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Proof of Love by Chisa Hutchinson, Force of Beauty by Mikki Taylor and Raising the Game by Anthony Frasier.
