Halsey Festival After Dark

Festivalgoers were invited to keep the party going after sunset at Halsey Festival After Dark presented by Audible, held in Harriet Tubman Square. It was a neon celebration of Newark’s creative spirit, complete with a live DJ dance party and fashion show, and interactive art experiences from Newark Artist Collaboration. Attendees made their colorful marks on a Raise Your Voice mural by NAC artist collective RORSHACH. Families gathered in the Spectrum of Joy courtyard at Newark Public Library, a colorful installation by CAZORLA + SALEME, for glow-in-the-dark fun like neon face-painting and dress-up photo opportunities.
